How to Keep Avocado Fresh for Longer
Avocado is one of those ingredients together with fruits and veg that as soon as you cut it it starts to turn black, meaning the avocado is oxidising. This process is caused by the contact of the avocado with oxygen. The solution to this problem is to avoid the contact between avocado and air as much as possible.
With this simple tip your avocado will stay green and fresh for longer avoiding a lot of waste and ugly salads.
Once your avocado is cut in half place clean cling film on the flesh side
Gently press the cling film onto the flesh as to remove any gaps, air or spaces between the avocado and the cling film
Wrap the remaining cling film under and around the avocado and place in the fridge.
Thanks it! Now you;r avocado will stay at least 2 days green and fresh.
