This exquisite sweet is made with the traditional Napolitan ultra crispy “filo” like pastry in the shape of a lobster. Traditionally is filled with Chantilly cream, chocolate cream or pastry cream with 2 cherries on the top for the bigger ones.
This sweet is part of the traditional Southern Italian patisserie and can be found in any bakery throughout Rome, Naples, Campagna and Calabria, where you can find from the small individual ones to the large to share lobsters.
