We all know that Italians are pretty passionate about food, right? And that in Italy as in many Latin countries life goes around food, right?
Well, I was pretty much surprised when I read the survey done by GFK that shows that in fact India is the country that spends more hours for cooking every week, are you surprise by this? And that South Africans are the ones with more food knowledge per person that any of the other countries surveyed by GFK. But fear not! Italy did feature as the highest country for food passion per person…thanks god!! I was starting to think that us Italian somehow had forgotten our passion for food…
I was also surprised to see the UK surpassing France, Brazil, Turkey and Mexico in the amount of hours of cooking per person per week. Does this means that British are starting to have that love and passion for food? What do you think? Are you one of those spending 5.9 hours per week cooking?
