How to Make Almond Milk

This almond milk recipe yields a super creamy and delicious milk that can be used to accompany your breakfast cereal or coffee. It only uses 4 ingredients and takes no more than 15 minutes to do it resulting in a delicious, creamy and super healthy alternative to cow's milk.

  • 1 cup of sweet almonds
  • 3 cups of water
  • 3 dates or 3 tbsp of sugar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract
  • water to soak the almonds


  1. Place the almonds in a bowl and cover with water. Leave to soak over night
  2. Next day drain the almonds and place them in a blender of food processor with the 3 cups of water, vanilla and dates or sugar.
  3. Blend everything at maximum speed for 1.5 to 3 minutes.
  4. Sieve the milk. Don't dispose of the meal leftover as this can be use to make almond flour.
  5. Once sieved add a pinch of salt and mix well.
  6. Put the milk into a glass bottle or container and keep in the fridge.
