‘Nduja and Black Olives Chicken Burger with Casava Chips

Whether on the BBQ or in a pan this burger has all the flavours of the South of Italy with the spicy Calabrian 'Nduja, black olives, Cacciocavalo cheese and fresh Rosemary, but as with all my recipes the Venezuelan touch needs to be included, and in this recipe is in the form of Cumin powder, garlic, Worcester sauce and Casava chips... This burger is absolutely delicious and sooo satisfying!! It is worth making...

Ingredients

  • 500 gr of minced chicken
  • 1/4 cup of chopped black olives
  • 2 Tbsp of Calabrian 'Nduja
  • 1 Tsp of dried oregano
  • 1/2 Tsp of cumin powder
  • 2 Tsp of garlic powder
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • 2 Tbsp of Worcester sauce
  • Tomato lettuce, cheese, sauces for building the burger
  • Brioch burger bun

Instructions

  1. Place the minced meat in a bowl and add all the herbs and spices
  2. Mix all the ingredients well so everything is combined
  3. Divide the meat in equal parts and form balls
  4. Tap each ball as to create patties and place each one on a hot pan, grill or BBQ
  5. Cook all the way through
  6. When the burger is done place some slices of cheese on top when still in the pan and cover so the cheese melts
  7. Serve on a burger bun and build the burger to taste
  8. Enjoy!
